You decide that you are too tired to handle this situation and decide to go back to sleep. The next thing you know it is nighttime as you see the moon in the overhead window upon waking up. You roll over onto your stomach and notice one of the floorboards is creaking. Pushing down on it reveals that the board is loose. You push a little harder and the other end pops up to where you can grab it. Curious, you pull on the end and slide it out.

Written on it in strange handwriting is, "Four shapes you already know = Four numbers all in a row." You think about the shapes you keep seeing in your head.
